Artist Profile: Tomahawk Love

Looking for a band that will entertain both with their music and their performance? Well, I have the perfect band for you! Introducing, Tomahawk Love. These five musicians have started a name for themselves having played at popular venues downtown Toronto such as: The Hard Rock Cafe, El Macombo, Horseshoe Tavern, and the Revival Bar. They have an upcoming show at Sound Academy on February 2nd and at the Opera House on February 16th. If you want to catch these guys perform locally within the Mississauga area, you can find them jamming out at Cuchulianns Irish Pub in Streetsville. For a night of good tunes and good times, come and check out this band and make sure you are ready to DANCE!

Follow them on Twitter @TLoveBand and on Facebook as Tomahawk Love.

Here is a brief bio about the band found on their Facebook page:

“They’re just looking to have a good time all the time and make sure everyone around them is doing the same. They are in a continuous state of growth and have a need to better themselves both as musicians and as people. This is why their sound can range from 50’s style duwap to a more current rock sound. Good music is timeless and when done well is always enjoyable. The goal is to bring all forms of rock together into something beautiful and entertaining where failure is not an option. Listening to five or six of Tomahawk Love’s tracks is like listening to the evolution of rock as they take your ears on a journey and show you that rock is rock, no matter how you play it.”

“Tomahawk Love has a sound like no other. With an eclectic mix of tunes ranging from Rockabilly and Swing to Punk and heavy Rock topped off with pure joy there’s something for everyone hidden in their sound. Whether you want to dance, mosh, or just sit back and enjoy the show Tomahawk Love will not disappoint!”
